by a representation of a mechanical device on the left which "supports" the ceiling beam above it
and sawed-off tree stump under the beam at right. Both of these symbolize the panels for which this
section is a link. In the center is a powerful clenched fist (representing labor?) which bursts
through Mrs. Coit's flames.
